Want to roast your way into the Roaster Village at the SCA‘s Global Specialty Coffee Expo taking place late April in Seattle? Well too bad, because you can’t. BUT you can ‘Gram your way there thanks to a new contest from Royal Coffee. All you have to do is take a (double-tappable) photo of a box of Royal’s Crown Jewels out in the wild, and you may just end up slinging your beans at alongside Royal at the Roaster Village.

Entry is simple: post a photo to Instagram of your Crown Jewel box “in an interesting place or in an interesting situation” (“Photoshop skills encouraged but not required”) and tag @royal.coffee.inc and @the.royal.crown. They will repost your photo and the two photos they repost with the most number of likes win.

“And what do they win?” you thirsty roasters are surely asking by now. I’m getting there, slow your roll. The takers of the two-most liked photos will receive a 22-pound Crown Jewel box of green coffee, the “opportunity to curate your own coffee analysis with The Crown team,” and of course the chance to serve their coffee at the Royal booth in the Roaster Village at the SCA Expo happening April 21st and 22nd.

The contest is now receiving entries and the winners will be decided by March 27th. There’s already one photo up of Jamie Smith—lead roaster at Sightglass Coffee—with 125 likes, so the bar has been set.

A few suggestions for the industrious Photoshopper looking to take home the prize:

Crown Jewels in space
The Royal Family wearing the Crown Jewels
Run the Crown Jewels
The Crown Jewels of the Nile
An entire garden of Wandering Crown Jewels
Maybe some sort of Pink Panther/Crown Jewels situation

Ok, I’ve typed “jewels” so many times that it has lost all meaning and I’m realizing how funny of a word it is. Anyway, if you use any of these bulletproof ideas to win your way into the Roaster Village, the Sprudge Live desk expects a steady stream of coffee as recompense.
