Our Take: Our Ethiopian Natural Craft Coffee bean originates in Southwestern Sidamo, With an altitude of 1,500 – 2,000 feet Ethiopia is a prime coffee-growing destination. Harvesting starts in September going through to December. Processed naturally, the beans are dried on raised beds. You may be wondering why we refer to the region as Sidama vs Sidamo: The people of Sidama do not attribute themselves as Sidamo. Because of the oppression of their identity as a people, they see this as a label that serves as the conquest of their autonomy and the suppression of their people's identity.
